Penang To Miss Lobo, Rafiuddin Next Week
7 Mac, 2015
GEORGE TOWN, March 7 (Bernama) -- Penang will be without Oliveira Lobo and Rafiuddin Roddin in their encounter with Kedah next week after both players collected three yellow cards in the Premier League this season.
Chief coach, Jacksen F. Tiago said he was optimistic about his players and Penang would not be crippled without the two players.
"I expect it to be a tough game but we still have one week... we will be prepared," he told reporters after the match against Kuala Lumpur here, last night.
Earlier Penang beat Kuala Lumpur 1-0 through a goal by Mohd Faiz Subri in the 39th minute.
He said at the moment, he was satisfied with Penang sitting on the second spot on the league table with 10 points after three wins and a draw.
Tiago, however, is still working on sharping the frontline to create more field goals.
"At the moment, there is only one goal from open play, others were own goals, penalties and free kicks.
"But my boys have shown improvement and are training hard to close the gap between various players," he said.
