AT Kuala Terengganu U11 & AT Kota Bharu U10 Shine In Gambang

It was a sunny, Saturday full of football as Padang Akademi Mokhtar Dahari in Gambang, Pahang posed as the venue for Round 8 of the Liga Akademi Tunas Zon Timur Under-10s, Under-11s, and Under-12s.

The two teams that stood out that morning were AT Kuala Terengganu U11 and At Kota Bharu U10. AT Kuala Terengganu U11 adopted a style of play that focused on short passes and keeping the ball on the ground. The team played to keep possession and to prevent their oppenents from playing their game.

This style of play helped AT Kuala Terengganu U11 dictate the speed and tempo of the game to their liking as the youngsters from Kuala Terengganu were confident on the ball.



Mohd Adam Uwais Bin Mohd Armi emerged as the star of the team as he played in the center of the field as the playmaker that set off the team's attacks.

The son of Mohd Armi Shariff, the Head Youth Coach for the state of Terengganu, Mohd Adam Uwais was the engine of the midfield as he tirelessly went from box-to-box, turning defense into attack with his runs and passing.



The other team that performed on the day was At Kota Bharu U10, playing in an all-black Kelantan FA kit. They were led by their captain and star player, Mohd Rifaie Azim Bin Ruzaizol who was instrumental for his team.



The proud boys from the Red Warrior state played defensively and caught teams on the counter attack with quick, decisive attacking movements from forwards Mohd Rifaie Azim and his partner-in-crime, Muhd Zharfan Bin Mokhtar.

The two connected well and caused a lot of problems for their opponents.
