PVF Target To Do Better Than Last Year
8 Ogos, 2015
Promotion Fund of Vietnamese Football Talents (PVF) is a non-profit fund established to invest in and support youth football development of Vietnam. One of its aims is o help Vietnamese football to attain success at regional level.
Founded in 2008 in Ho Chi Minh City, PVF has now identified and trained over 180 players from around the country. They are now one of the main academy to provide talent in representing Vietnam at Asian level competition.
ACT 2014 was a good show of their talent and achievement when the U16 team qualified to the finals with Malaysia U16 National Team known as Harimau Muda D. Thus, it is not unusual for their Head coach, Nguyen Phuc Nguyen Chuong to challenge his boys for this year’s ACT. “We look forward to the start of the tournament and our aim is to do better than last year”. Though it is a big statement since the only achievement better than last year is to become the champion, he is confident with his players and believe they have prepared well for the tournament.
Some of their best players are with the National Team for the AFF competition but that is not the excuse for not playing well tonight in Melaka. “First game is away game which is always difficult for us. We don’t have some of our best players due to National duty, but we are prepared to play for a win against Frenz United B.
PVF FA will play Frenz United B in Hang Tuah Stadium in Melaka tonight. Kick off at 8.15pm.
