Tengku Norzaiful Shines In Negeri Sembilan U13 Win

Tengku Mohd Norzaiful Bin Tengku Zaizurin was on form last Saturday in Negeri Sembilan U13's 2-0 win over East Zone team, Kelantan U13. The young midfielder was an engine at the centre of the Negeri Sembilan U13 forward line as he harassed opposition defenders with his quick movement. He was not shy to try his luck on goal as well as he kept the Kelantan U13 goalkeeper on his toes.

He managed to grab a goal with a strong shot from outside the penalty area. The ball went to the left of the goal and tucked itself neatly in the corner of the net, past the outreaching Kelantan U13 goalkeeper. He also managed to get an assist to his name when his in-swinging freekick from the left-hand side of the pitch was pounced upon by his teammate who went in with the header to put Negeri Sembilan U13 2-0 up. The game carried on with Negeri Sembilan U13 controlling the game, mainly with Tengku Norzaiful at the centre of the action. The game ended Negeri Sembilan U13 2-0 Kelantan U13.



Negeri Sembilan U13 coach, Hamshahril Bin Hamdan, was full of praise for the youngster, saying that Tengku Norzaiful has improved a lot and has been consistent in his presence on the pitch.



The other games that day also produced some memorable performances. Pahang U13 trumped Melaka U13 7-2 with the team playing one of the most attractive attacking performances of the day. Johor U13 vs Terengganu U13 also produced a high scoring fixture that saw the South Zone team dominate play against the East Zone team with good, controlled play which caused the Terengganu U13 defence to come undone.

This round of Liga Kebangsaan (LK) Under-13 and Under-15 games were played at Padang Majlis Perbandaran Pasir Gudang and consisted of teams from the South Zone, Johor, Melaka, and Negeri Sembilan, and the East Zone, Terengganu, Kelantan, and Pahang.
