Another round of boost for NFDP coaches
28 Julai, 2016
It is business as usual for National Football Development Programme (NFDP) Coaching Development & Talent Scouting department as another round of coaching course takes it way and for the second time of the year, another batch of "C" licence hopefuls are taking the stage.
Started from 24th July 2016, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) "C" Licence Coaching Course organised by NFDP and Football Assocation of Malaysia (FAM) at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor will come to an end on 7th August 2016. Participants are being exposed and tested with coaching education module provided by the AFC as they will have to master the Laws of the Game, general and specific theory of the subjects.
The ongoing course is being led by NFDP Head of Talent Scouting, P. Ganasamurthy with Sarawak Head Youth Coach, Hazry Abdullah assisting him on and off the pitch. This time around, the course has gathered 23 Akademi Tunas (AT) and Pusat Latihan Daerah (PLD) coaches from across the country, who are coaching 7-17 years old players.
Without a doubt, it is important to point out that coaching development plays a vital role in the programme and such initiative being carried out continuously is to ensure that the development of the game is being equipped with learned coaches as enshrined in the National Football Development Plan 2014-2020, launched by the Prime Minster of Malaysia, Dato' Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak back in 2014.
