U-12 : Malaysia Cougars 6-0 Buriram United

A heavily one-sided game in MSN E controlled from kickoff by the Cougars who managed to translate their superiority into goals.

U-14 : Malaysia Cougars (U-14) 1-0 Bangladesh

Last year’s U-13 quarterfinalists, Malaysia Cougars had Bangladesh on the ropes throughout the whole game in MSN D with only the frame of the goal coming to the Bengal Tiger’s rescue several times in the match. The frustration increased further for the home with a missed penalty, conceded after some desperate defending by Bangladesh. Alias bin Alan finally broke the deadlock in the 55th minute to wrap all three points for Malaysia Cougars.

Session 2 (1050)

U-12 : Malaysia Panthers 3-2 Saint Prima

The opening minutes in MSN E belonged to Saint Prima but thankfully for the Panthers, their goalkeeper Arman Adika was equal to the task of keeping his goal intact. The Indonesian side poured further onwards leaving space behind, and it was taken advantage of by Nabil Qayyum in the 12th minute through a beautifully worked counter-attack .1-0 to the Panthers at half-time. A balanced second half tilted further in favour of the home side, the 48th minute seeing Panthers doubling their lead through an Alif Farhan screamer. Just 5 minutes later, Saint Prima’s heads dropped low as Nabil Qayum scored Malaysia Panther’s third goal of the game, a coolly taken penalty dispatched to the bottom right of the net. Game over? Not yet as Luthfan Sidqi pounced upon an unclean catch by Adika Arman in the 55th minute to open the scoring for Saint Prima. Redha Nabiha converted a penalty for the Indonesians just 4 minutes later to set the alarm bells ringing but Malaysia Panthers rode the storm to secure three precious points.


U-14 : Malaysia Panthers (U-14) 1-0 Malaysia Panthers (U-13)

Malaysia Panthers U-14 edged their juniors by a single Arif Hafiz goal in the 32nd minute in their game in MSN D

Session 3 (1240)

U-12 : Malaysia Tigers 1-0 Spartak Tashkent

3 wins out of 3 for all Under-12 Malaysian sides as MSN E saw Malaysian Tigers edge out Spartak Tashkent 1-0. The Malaysian Tigers held the upper hand in the first half, but no goals were registered as Spartak Tashkent’s goalkeeper exerted a calming influence inside his area to fuse out the incoming attacks. Spartak Tashkent changed their gameplay to dominate the second half , only to see an unfortunate deflection of a Sabri Abdullah attempt in the 48th minute beating their goalkeeper.

U-14 : Thailand 4-0 Malaysia Tigers

4-0 to the Elephants in a game completely dominated by the Thai side in MSN D.
