Match Day 2 of SuperMokh Cup 2016
13 Disember, 2016
Venue : Maybank Field A & B, Bangi
Date : 13th December 2016
Session 1 (0900)
U-12 : Bunyodkor 2–4 FF South Australia
3 minutes was all it took for Bunyodkor to make the Australians’ nets dance in Maybank A, courtesy of a Alokhujaev Maksudkhuja opener. The goal stung FF South Australia into action who responded through a 9th minute goal to level the score. A tight game finally went the way of the Aussies , a just reward for their ceaseless bombardment towards the Bunyodkor goal. Kudos to them for turning things around after a 0-4 reverse against Sporting CP and this result raises them up to second place in Group A.
U-12 : Spartak Tashkent 0– 1 Evergrande FS
The noisiest most colourful team of the tournament, Spartak Tashkent games comes with a full accompaniment of their parents travelling along with the team as well as the Uzbekistan flag heralding their players’ entrance onto the Maybank B pitch. The game however, ended up scoreless at halftime. Evergrande broke the deadlock in the 33rd minute through a Guo Shuai finish, and that was how it stayed till the final whistle.
The win maintains Evergrande FS’s position at the top of Group C with 2 wins out of 2 games.
Session 2 (1100)
U-12 : NFDP Terengganu 0–4 Sporting CP
NFDP Terengganu failed to build upon their opening day victory as they felt the full might of a Sporting CP charge up to the top of Group A. For the second game in a row, the Portugese side maintained another 4-0 rout of their opponent. NFDP Terengganu could not be faulted for lack of trying, however they were simply up against an opponent seemingly two steps ahead of them in Maybank A
U-12 : Guri Junior 2–1 Buriram United
Guri Junior sobered up from defeat against Foolad Sepahan on opening day by beating Thai side Buriram United 2-1 in Maybank B. Special mention must go to their goalkeeper captain Jung Injeung, quick off his line at the slightest threat of a Buriram offensive into his box as well presenting a cool head in the heat of the penalty box skirmishes. Up front, Cho Yong Jae did his job well with two goals registered in the 8th and 43rd minute.
Session 3 (1250)
U-12 : Tabuan (U-12) 1–3 Saint Prima
An evenly balanced match played in the pouring rain which ended 1-0 at halftime to the Indonesians. It was all Saint Prima in the second half, with Muhammad Redha Nabiha standing out with a hattrick on the Maybank B pitch
