They finally earned their just rewards through Amirul Ashrafiq in the 11th minute, an easy finish him after a beautiful cross was made into the box. Kawasaki had no time to respond before the second strike came just a minute later through Luqman Hakim, who boomed his goal in from almost point blank range. Amirul Ashrafiq then scored his second of the game in the 15th minute to make it 3-0. Amirul was simply on fire and the 18th minute saw him completing his hattrick with a calmly placed shot past the Kawasaki goalkeeper. 4-0 to the Cougars at haltime. The second half saw an evenly balanced game with no further goals registered. Cougars top their Group C standings with 2 wins out of 2.

U-14 : Sao Paulo FC 4-0 Malaysia Tigers (U-14)

Sao Paulo impressively dismantled Malaysia Tigers at MSN D in a heavily one-sided affair. The Tigers conceded their first goal as early as the seventh minute through Talles Costa who managed to escape his markers to stab the ball into the net. A period of dominance saw Sao Paulo doubling their lead just before the halftime whistle sounded through a 31st minute Miguel Augosto strike.

The second half begin the way the first ended, through another goal by the Brazilians, this time captain Gabriel Silva applying the finish. Gabriel again was on hand again in the 51st minute to finish off his teammates weave of throughballs and pullbacks across the pitch. Malaysia Tigers had to rely on scraps of counterattacks which ended almost as soon as it began due to Sao Paulo’s quick ball recovery capabilities.

Session 3 (1240)

U-14 : Paris Saint-Germain 3-1 Malaysia Panthers (U-14)

A finely balanced game with both teams going for the jugular right from kickoff. An episode just before halftime saw PSG goalkeeper Chanu Theo taken out after a freak clash with his defender in trying to save a Danial Amali attempt. Goalless at halftime, but it did not stay that way for long as Amirul Azzim lofts a perfectly weighted finish over a flailing substitute keeper 3 minutes into restart.

The home side were quickly made to stifle their celebrations as a 49th minute penalty to PSG was duly converted by Kalimuendo Arnaud to pull the Parisians level.

3 minutes later, it was their turn to go ahead, Kouassi Nianzou leaping high to beat keeper Daniel Akmal to the ball from a corner-kick.

The 58th minute saw them adding further misery on the hosts through a clever Limouri Chams-eddine strike, the player noticing Daniel Akmal just a bit off his line and delivering an immaculate chip out of the blue. 3-1 to PSG and that was how it stayed to the end in MSN D.
