A game in which defence won as both sides practiced caution and displayed little initiative in going forward. Bunyodkor edged their Japanese opponents 1-0 to go joint top of group A with Sporting CP.

U-14 : FC Seoul 1-3 Buriram United

FC Seoul failed to build on from an opening day victory against Manchester City as they slumped to a 1-3 reverse against Buriram United. An injury to their first choice goalkeeper just before the game was taken full advantage of by the Thais, who now head the Group B with 2 wins out of 2.
